About
Hey, I’m Lakshmi.
I build and ship things fast — and try not to lose my mind in the process.
If you’re trying to get your SaaS out the door without spending weeks wrestling infra or second-guessing every choice, this place is for you.
I’ve been doing this for almost twenty years. Started as a developer, wandered into ops, and eventually realized that a dev who understands ops is basically unstoppable. These days I’m obsessed with one thing: shipping useful products quickly, and keeping my sanity intact while doing it.
This publication is where I share what that looks like in real life — the experiments, the shortcuts, and the faceplants. Some days it’s a production war story, other days it’s a small win that makes everything smoother.
I also build tools, courses, and experiments around this idea. If something clicks, I’ll double down and package it up. If it flops, I’ll write the post-mortem.
I’m an AI optimist. I love it and fear it equally — it’s less “the future” and more “a very sharp knife.” Handy, as long as you know where your fingers are.
Fun facts? Sure.
I learned C/C++ with DJGPP and Allegro back when game loops were my whole world.
My first “production app” was a snake clone that crashed after level 3. I once spent three days debugging a loose power cable.
And I play Carnatic violin just badly enough to stay humble.
What you’ll find here:
Quick notes, half-baked ideas, longer guides, and plenty of experiments. It’s all part of figuring out how to ship faster — with fewer meltdowns along the way.
If you’re a solo founder, indie dev, or small team trying to build and ship your SaaS in days (not months), you’ll feel right at home.
