About
I’m Lakshmi Narasimhan. Principal SRE by day, builder-writer-polymath by everything else.
I help developers build, deploy, and distribute their SaaS without hiring a team. I also run Stacksweller (Substack scheduling + analytics) and Supabyoi (managed self-hosted Supabase), write fiction under a pen name, play Carnatic violin, and occasionally publish research on Carnatic ML when the day pretends to end.
This blog is the corpus — everything I’m working out, in one feed, in four shapes:
- Essays are long-form, occasional, and the closest thing to a considered argument.
- TILs are short technical notes about something I learned and want to be able to find again.
- Notes are reactions to a link, a paper, or a quote.
- Releases are annotated changelogs for the tools I ship.
There is no separate “music section” or “engineering section”. The through-line is me; the collisions across domains are the edge. Use the tags to filter by topic, or pick a guide for a curated reading path.
